Mindfulness as a Coaching tool

What is Mindfulness all about? I hear you wonder.

Essentially, mindfulness is the practice of being present, of non-judgemental, moment-to-moment awareness. And today, the mindfulness techniques we use can be attributed to Jon Kabat-Zinn, who adapted the teachings he learnt from spending many years with Eastern spiritual practitioners as he was growing up.

Mindfulness may sound simple, but as we all know achieving a state of calm, without our minds running at 150mph on autopilot can often be difficult, and this is where our coaching programmes can offer you personal support. Working with an experienced mindfulness coach can help you move through difficult transitions, including: overwhelm in your personal life; issues in your relationships; challenges in your professional life; or as you embark on new creative projects.

VWellness mindfulness coaching helps develop self-mastery - a better understanding of self, our mind, our awareness, our emotions, and how to adopt a non-reactive approach to life. These coaching programmes are designed to help you manage busy mind chatter, and add focus to your days. We’ll work through the key principles of mindfulness together, including the seven pillars: non-judgement, letting go, acceptance, beginner's mind, trust, patience and non-striving. And, you will also have the chance to establish personal goals during your programme, and learn about the tools you need to help achieve them.

All coaching sessions are led in a safe, non-judgemental space for us to explore whatever you need, in order to be your authentic self, whilst following the principles of mindfulness and more. With our clients, we've found that everyone has their own preferred way of learning, be that purely practical, more spiritual (soul connection), or a little of both. But all in all, we create a programme that will benefit you positively for the rest of your life.
